How Much Is Go Karting in Auckland? Full Price Guide

Short answer: go karting in Auckland costs $49 for a single adult race, $44 for a single junior race and $29 for a mini kart session at Game Over. That pricing is the same at both of our venues, Game Over Albany on the North Shore and Game Over Pakuranga in East Auckland.

If you want more than one race, multi-race bundles bring the per-race cost down. Two adult races are $84 at Albany and $89 at Pakuranga, and Albany also offers three adult races for $109. Below is the full breakdown so you can work out exactly what your trip will cost before you book.

Pakuranga has a multi-level track, so there is a bit more going on as you climb and drop through the corners.

A quick note on age brackets

The age split is slightly different between venues, so check before you book. At Albany, adult racing starts at 13 and junior racing covers ages 7-12. At Pakuranga, adult racing starts at 14 and junior racing covers ages 7-13. Mini karts are for ages 3-6 at both venues.

What is included in the price

Your race price covers the kart and your time on track in a high-speed electric go kart. Karts are electric at both venues, so there are no petrol fumes and no noise headache, just instant torque off the line.

Junior karts are built for younger racers, so kids aged 7 and up get a proper race experience rather than a watered down one. Mini karts give the 3-6 year olds their own go, which means the whole family can have a turn.

Both venues also have food and drinks on site, so you can refuel between races without leaving.

How multi-race bundles save you money

One race is fun. Two is usually when drivers start chasing a faster lap time. The bundles are priced so that extra races cost less than buying them one at a time.

Albany adults: 3 races for $109 instead of $147 as three singles, a saving of $38

Adding other activities to your visit

Go karting is usually the main event, but both venues have plenty more going on if you want to make a half day of it.

At Albany, laser tag missions start at $18 for one, $25 for two and $30 for three. Mini putt on the dinosaur themed 12-hole course is $16 a round, or you can grab the Tag and Putt combo for $25. Arcade credits come in $30, $70 and $100 packs.

At Pakuranga, bowling is $24 a game across eight modern lanes, the Wild West 18-hole mini golf course is $24 a round, and Ninja City passes are $24 for one hour or $36 for two. Arcade credits come in $30, $50 and $70 packs.
